After the success of BIAK NA BATO (Split Rock) where Ralph Ellis Lopez was introduced, here’s another project that will make this Bulakenyo Star shines even brighter.

He gained lots of commends and achieved good feedbacks with his acting ability shown in the movie Biak na Bato where he portrayed a role of a young forest ranger along with Alex Castro and John Christopher Cabudol. One of the favorite scenes testifies by the viewers highlights Ralph Ellis’ acting prowess where he was trying to save the little children from flashflood and the scene with MS. ALECK BOVICK (Remedios) where he was confessing that he failed to save the life of her only daughter Pot-Pot which turned very dramatic.

Ralph Ellis Lopez is one of Bulakenyos who just simply dream to be an actor someday. From an ordinary student of Bulacan State University, who loves acting in school and church theater plays, joining pageants & modelling came one day at the Hiyas ng Bulakan Convention Center to audition for the movie Biak na Bato that made him enter into a more seriously acting stint. Now, Ralph Ellis Lopez was given a breakthrough movie that will give him an opportunity to prove his acting skills, the environmental movie entitled: PALAWAN (In the Heart of Tagbanuas).

He will be portraying the role of a young environmentalist named Andrei - from a respected family of businessmen in Manila. He abondoned his family, the environmental group where he belongs (ECO) and his advocacies & principles and went into a strange island to forget the painful and shocking turn outs of an environmental enthsiast. He left everything in Manila and woke up one day in an enchanting island were he saw a different culture - the tribe of Tagbanuas and met a beautiful young native lady named Tala.

PALAWAN (In the Heart of Tagbanuas) is another inspiring tale of love and advocacy, saving the environment and the rich culture of Tagbanuas and the importance of their ancestral land. The movie will feature powerhouse cast and will be announce soon.

PALAWAN (In the Heart of Tagbanuas) is scheduled to shoot in Puerto Princesa City, Coron Island and Metro Manila this May 2009. Written & Directed by PAOLO BUERA. A production of Ang Aking Sining Productions.
